So, um, I've written about 600 new words (on top of the extant 4500) on a story that I started ten years ago, about the origins of the Malfoy family in England.

This may take a while, depending on how plotty it becomes. I'm not good at planning out stories; once I've figured out what will happen I'm usually less interested in actually writing it. ( Read more... )

Got back from our brief trip to St. Louis tonight. It was a very nice visit; we went to the zoo and saw puffins (SO's favorite), the art museum for a preview tour (with the curator!) of an exhibition on Federico Barocci (a late Renaissance/early Baroque artist), and the symphony (a concert with mostly Vivaldi, and lots of bassoons).
